For every purchase made on the site, eBay donates a dollar to three non-profits in India on a rotating basis – Aseema, a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to providing underprivileged children with a fostering educational environment; Literacy India, a non-profit organization focusing on empowering disadvantaged children and women through education; and Jan Swa Shakti Samiti, a women’s welfare NGO that cultivates livelihood skills among women. One non-profit will be featured per week on the Holiday microsite.
